BLUE | Ready-to-use, extremely-fast-exposing SBQ-photopolymer direct emulsion formulated for imprinted sportswear printing. Good humidity and textile solvents resistance, easy reclaiming.

BLUE is a ready-to-use, extremely-fast-exposing SBQ-photopolymer direct emulsion formulated for imprinted sportswear printing. It resists plastisol inks—including newer, more aggressive, post-phthalate plastisols—and most washup solvents, making it exceptionally easy to reclaim in automatic equipment or by hand. BLUE is especially efficient with fixed or scanning LED units, as well as with fluorescent tubes or other low-intensity light sources, or in shops that need high stencil making throughput. BLUE has high viscosity (6,000 – 8,000 centipoise) that improves control when coating screens by hand. It affords exceptional EOM (emulsion over mesh thickness) build per coat, better mesh bridging--especially on coarse mesh--good edge definition, and fast drying. BLUE stencils are durable, will not become tacky under high humidity conditions, have excellent wet strength, and are easy to wash out.

1GUFORANGE.png

Orange is a ready-to-use SBQ-photopolymer direct emulsion formulated for imprinted sportswear printing. It is formulated with a “masking color” that reduces light scattering—the major cause of loss of resolution. With Orange, it is possible to use less costly white mesh without the closing up of fine lines and details. Despite its anti-halation color, Orange is ultra-fast-exposing! It is perfect for shops with high stencil making throughput, as well as shops with fluorescent tubes or other low-intensity light sources. Orange has high viscosity (6,000 – 8,000 centipoise) that improves control when coating screens by hand and makes it a good choice for coarse mesh. Its high solids content (44 - 46%) results in better mesh bridging and edge definition, and fast drying. Orange resists plastisols, most washup solvents, and some water-based textile inks, and it is easy to reclaim. Orange stencils are durable, will not become tacky under high humidity conditions, and have excellent wet strength and exposure latitude. Orange reduces stencil-making time—in coating (because of its high viscosity), drying (due to its high solids), and exposure (due to its high photo-sensitivity despite its “masking color.”

PLATINUM™ | SBQ-photopolymer direct emulsion for textile/ transfers/ imprinted sportswear printing with plastisol and water-based inks. Good for CTS, LED exposure units, automatic washout and reclaiming equipment.

1GUFPLATINUM.png

Ulano Platinum is a ready-to-use SBQ-photopolymer direct emulsion formulated for imprinted sportswear printing and other markets. It resists plastisol inks—including newer, more aggressive, post-phthalate plastisols—and most washup solvents, making it easy to reclaim in automatic equipment or by hand. It is formulated with a gray color that reduces light scattering throughout all spectral range —the major cause of loss of resolution. Platinum’s gray coloration is innovative way for Ulano to further expand the spectrum of possible stencil colorations, where not only it benefits emulsion cosmetically, but also functionally. Such coloration also combines good contrast with easy see-through. It is well suited for the certain computer to screen systems, as even with the short pixilated exposures, the stencil, due to innovative gray coloration exposes through well throughout the thickness of the stencils, forming dense crosslinking on the squeegee side of the screen.

With Platinum, it is possible to use less costly white mesh without the closing up of fine lines and details.

Despite its anti-halation color, Platinum is ultra-fast-exposing!  It is perfect for shops with high stencil making throughput, as well as shops with fluorescent tubes or other low-intensity light sources.

Platinum has high viscosity (12,000 – 14,000 centipoises) that improves control when coating screens by hand and makes it a good choice for coarse mesh.  Its high solids content (40-41%) results in better mesh bridging and edge definition, and fast drying.  Platinum stencils are durable, will not become tacky under high humidity conditions, and have excellent wet strength and exposure latitude.  Platinum reduces stencil-making time—in coating (because of its high viscosity), drying (due to its high solids), and exposure (due to its high photo-sensitivity despite its “masking color”).

QLT /QLT RED | Pre-Sensitized Solvent Resistant Emulsion - If used with diazo, excellent resistance for long runs with water-based inks.

1GUFQLT.png

We introduced QLT in April 2008 as an ultra-fast SBQ textile emulsion with high viscosity (7,200 CPS) and solids (+ 43%). Almost as an afterthought, we mentioned that it resists most washup solvents. That has proved to be a key feature now that many ink manufacturers are reformulating plastisols to eliminate phthalates as plasticizers. As it happens, the replacement plasticizers contain more aggressive solvents. QLT is quickly gaining new imprinted sportswear customers who now require an emulsion with better solvent resistance

TRIFECTA SBQ Dual-Cure Textile Emulsion; Presensitized for Use with Water-Based, Plastisol and Discharge Inks, No Sensitizer or Hardening Needed* Good for CTS, LED exposure units, automatic washout and reclaiming equipment.

1GUFTRIFECTA.png

TRIFECTA is a ready-to-use, extremely fast exposing and durable, violet-colored SBQ-dual cure direct emulsion for imprinted sportswear printing with water-based, discharge and plastisol inks, including post-phthalate formulations. Properly prepared, TRIFECTA stencils do not require any sensitizers or hardeners to withstand the most aggressive textile inks on the market. All the TRIFECTA stencils require to obtain durability is sufficient UV-light for exposure and post-exposure. TRIFECTA is formulated for compatibility with stationary and scanning CTS (computer-to-screen) exposure sources, including LED-based units. For maximum resolution and wider exposure latitude, yellow mesh usage is recommended with conventional exposure systems and with CTS exposure units.

TRIFECTA features fairly high viscosity (6500 centipoise at 25º C.) which provides good coating control, even on coarse mesh. Its high solids content facilitates fast drying, good buildup of EOM per coating stroke and, thus, good printed edge definition.

*In the rare cases, where 10,000 prints or more are required with aggressive inks, diazo or chemical hardening may be used.
